Easter and The Chick a Dee!

"The story of the Easter Bunny is thought to have become common in the 19th Century. Rabbit usually give birth to a big litter of babies (called Kittens), so they became a symbol of new life. Legend has it that the Easter Bunny lays, decorates and hides eggs as they are also a symbol of new life." (CBBC)* The Easter Chick a Dee is now born into the world and all is new and reborn as the Winter now becomes Spring! Eggs and chicks symbolize new life. Eggs have been a symbol of Spring since ancient times. An egg also is a symbol of the rock tomb out of which Christ emerged when he arose again, The chick, hatching out of the egg, symbolizes new life or re-birth!
